Three people died and one was critically injured after a Robinson R44 II helicopter crashed during a training flight near Ventnor on the Isle of Wight. The aircraft took off from Sandown Airport at 9 a.m. and went down around 9:24 a.m. Emergency teams airlifted the survivor to Southampton. The AAIB has opened an investigation, the road is closed, and the operator is cooperating.
