After vanishing from Jim Morrison’s Paris grave in 1988, a 128kg marble statue was recovered by French police as part of a fraud investigation. The sculpture, crafted in 1981, represents a key piece of rock history. Its fate, and whether it will return to Père-Lachaise, remains in limbo.
