 The swimming club committee consists of a number of parents of swimmers along with some other members who have been involved with the club over the years. We have monthly meetings at which we discuss the numerous topics which require attention in order to keep the club running as smoothly as possible.
Most committee members are tasked with looking after particular aspects of the clubs make-up. This includes organising gala teams,collecting quarterly fees, controlling poolside staffing, stocking the club shop and fulfilling the criteria required by the ASA to gain Swim 21 accreditation.
There are many other jobs that we do which are vital to the success of the club and it should not be underestimated the amount of time that is invested in these tasks.
If you are interested in helping out in some way, timekeeping at galas or perhaps trying to secure some grant based funding, then please pop in the office when you can for a chat.
